Many people know Orville Redenbacher’s popcorn as the one with “the old guy” on the box (actual focus group quote). And while that’s not wrong, there is so much more to the story. For the new ad campaign, we sought to bring a fresh voice to the brand: the farmers. And we used the actual farmers, not actors portraying famers. Because when you have third generation family farmers carrying on the legacy of Orville Redenbacher himself, there’s no one that can better showcase that passion and pride than those who are literally in the fields.
